Many health problems are caused, or aggravated, by nutritional deficiencies or stagnation of toxins in the body. This may be a result of environmental pollution, such as pesticides, lead, or chemicals used at work, or because of an inadequate nutritional balance. A toxin imbalance can lead to degeneration in the body's overall efficiency and can result in more serious illnesses.

The Biofeedback Allergy Testing System was originally developed by NASA scientists to monitor the health and body functioning of astronauts in the space programme. Now this machine has been made available to the general public. The Biofeedback Allergy Testing System is able to highlight weaknesses in body function which may be contributing to feelings of fatigue, recurring ailments and general ill health.

A trained therapist will test for suspected allergies or intolerance to food products and additives. This information will then be used to devise an appropriate plan of treatment. Testing is safe and painless and takes 1.5 hours. The treatment begins with the therapist taking a detailed medical history. Energy detecting sensors are then applied to wrists, ankles and forehead whilst readings are taken.

The Biofeedback Allergy Testing System both receives and emits evoked electro-physiological reactions (EPR) throughout the treatment, providing constant feedback. Once readings are complete, the therapist will then interpret the results and discuss these with the client. Typically the treatment advised will be a balance of lifestyle changes, dietary improvements and vitamin supplements.
